The story of the design
This ring features an octagon-cut London blue topaz measuring approximately 10x8mm, showing a rich, inky blue tone with strong depth and a slightly steely undertone. The step-style faceting creates clean, mirror-like reflections, giving the stone a crisp and structured appearance.
Surrounding the center is a double halo of white topaz, adding layers of brightness and fine sparkle. The smaller round stones create a tight, continuous border that contrasts against the darker center, enhancing both the shape and color of the main stone.
The shoulders are fully set with additional white topaz, extending the brilliance along the band and giving the ring a balanced, high-impact look from all angles.
Yellow gold prongs frame the center stone, adding a subtle contrast against the cool blue tone while tying into the gold-plated band beneath. The combination of rhodium and 18K yellow gold vermeil creates a two-tone finish that adds depth without overwhelming the design.
