The story of the design
This chrome diopside ring features a floral-inspired arrangement of vivid green gemstones spread across a wide tapered band. Pear-shaped stones form layered petals around the center, while round chrome diopside accents add balance and depth throughout the design.
The open floral layout creates strong movement across the top of the ring, giving the piece a bold, dimensional appearance while still maintaining symmetry. Fine textured metalwork fills the spaces between the stones, adding an artisan feel and enhancing the overall detail of the design.
Finished in 18K yellow gold vermeil over sterling silver, the warm gold tone intensifies the rich green color of the chrome diopside. Black rhodium is used at the prong tips to create stronger definition around the stones and increase contrast across the floral arrangement.
The result is a wide band ring focused on layered structure, vivid color, and decorative metalwork with a strong botanical influence.
