The story of the design
This tiger’s eye ring features a large cushion-shaped cabochon with a smooth, domed surface and strong natural banding. The stone displays classic chatoyancy, with a shifting golden-brown stripe that moves across the surface as it catches the light.
Set in a simple four-prong solitaire style, the stone sits prominently above the band, allowing the full pattern and movement of the tiger’s eye to remain visible from multiple angles. The setting keeps the structure clean and open, letting the material take center stage.
The band is smooth and slightly tapered, providing a balanced foundation without distracting from the stone. Finished in rhodium over sterling silver, the metal has a bright, polished tone that contrasts with the warm, earthy colors of the tiger’s eye.
