The story of the design
This ring is built around a large 12mm checkerboard faceted smoky quartz, delivering deep brown tones with flashes of light across its faceted surface. The checkerboard cut adds a distinctive texture, creating broad reflections instead of sharp sparkle, giving the stone a rich, dimensional presence.
Surrounding the center is a double halo of citrine, arranged in tight rows of round stones. The warm golden tones of the citrine create a strong contrast against the darker smoky quartz, forming a vibrant frame that enhances both color and brightness. The double halo structure adds depth and scale, making the design feel full and substantial from every angle.
The setting is crafted in solid sterling silver and finished with rhodium plating, giving it a bright, polished look while improving durability and resistance to tarnish. The wider band supports the larger top, keeping the proportions balanced and comfortable to wear.
