The story of the design
This kyanite ring is centered on a cushion-cut stone with a deep violet-blue tone, creating a rich and dimensional focal point. The color shifts slightly with light, giving the center a natural depth that draws attention without looking flat.
A halo of blue sapphires surrounds the kyanite, reinforcing the overall color while adding a brighter, more defined blue layer. White zircon accents sit along the outer edge and shoulders, introducing contrast and helping sharpen the structure of the design with small flashes of light.
The shoulders are detailed with additional sapphire accents set into the band, extending the color beyond the halo and giving the ring a more complete look from the side profile.
Finished in two-tone rhodium over sterling silver, black rhodium is used to deepen contrast around the darker stones, while white rhodium highlights the zircon and surrounding metal. Sapphire prong tips add an extra layer of detail, tying the design together.
The result is a ring built around layered blue tones, combining depth, contrast, and a structured halo layout.
